A few weeks ago, Darrick and I were “Andy and Andie”, fake bride and groom during the fun Parisian festival “Andy Festival”, organized by the blog Un Beau Jour and Nabie Dit Oui.
What do they do? They create and organize original, fun, creative weddings, with a lot of DYI suggestions, and they help young designers, decorators and caterers in the wedding industry get known.
We were honored to be asked to pose as “Andy and Andie” for the opening of the festival, and arrived there without even knowing how we would be dressed. We were totally trusting them! The place was amazingly beautiful, with walls of tropical vegetation, and beautiful wedding dresses everywhere I was looking.
Victoire, the stylist, told me that she had imagined a very rock’n’roll outfit: a top with a skirt, big costume jewelry, and…Stan Smith for the shoes!
Super weird at first sight, so cool once you wear it!
My wedding ensemble is from French designer Violette Tannenbaum. Super precious, in lace, and much more confortable than a long dress that you are afraid to step on.
Darrick is wearing a suit from Samson, and the Chuck Taylor’s he never leaves home without.
Our arriving was celebrated by Mariachis!
Another person who was very important during this party: the photographer Marion Heurteboust,, who made an incredible job capturing us. If you ever need a good photographer, she is the one, and she speaks perfect English and loves to travel!
Our little Jules was also there
Do you like this shooting? Would you dare to get married in sneakers?
