After one amazing week in San Francisco, visiting the emblematic districts of the city (Mission District, Haight Ashbury, Fisherman’s Wharf, Golden Gate, Chinatown, Union Square…) and eating in all the places recommended by our friends or guides, here is my selection of 4 yummy restaurants by district :
Today, let’s visit Chinatown district in San Francisco, the biggest Chinese district outside of China, and eat at the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to: Yank Sing.
This week, I shot my friend and new business partner Lauren Massoulier, beautiful designer of French brand Bollywood Bazzar.
Lauren has her own signature style: a lot of Vintage which never looks like vintage, a casual and comfy look (don’t expect to see her with skirt and heels), a masculine touch which makes her look unfairly sexy.
For this shooting, Lauren chose to wear a Gucci Vintage shirt, Balmain jeans, Jonak boots, and of course a Bollywood Bazzar pouch, the classic V-Bag.
Thanks to Restaurant Minimes, in Le Marais, Paris, for welcoming us in her chic brasserie, and to French photographer Naëva Giraud who shot those cool pictures!
If you come visit Los Angeles, for sure you will go to Hollywood Boulevard, to see the Dolby Theatre, the stars on the sidewalk on the Walk of Fame.
And also for sure, whenever you will come, it will be hot, very hot, like everyday in this city! So to have a refreshing snack, go to this little place of Frozen Yogurts in the area, Cantaloop, my yummy ritual every sunday when I come back from the Hollywood Farmers Market.
It is impossible to live in California and not try one of those homemade smoothies Californian people love, mixing most of the time green vegetables, fruits, and proteins.
One of my favorite is the Kale ( a super-powered salad we don’t have in France yet, low in calories and high in Iron), Banana and Berries: I was chocked by its weird and not appealing color at first (it s a brown-green-purple shade), but it is delicious.
Once a week, since I have been living in Los Angeles, I indulge my self with a yummy meal from The Vegan House, a little restaurant in Hollywood which cooks a delicious fusion of Thaï, Japanese and American food.
Last night, my man invited me to one of Los Angeles’ quietest restaurant success stories: Hatfield’s, , on Melrose Avenue, boarding Hancock Park. We had high expectations, as everyone talks about the place right now, and were pretty happy with the experience.
