On sundays, the hip place to be in LA is definitely the Melrose Trading Post.
If you are looking for some vintage treasures, cool and unique furniture, this is the spot! 250 vendors arranged with an eclectic choice of rare goodies, in a laid back and cool atmosphere. If you don’t feel like buying, you will enjoy the food court in the nice upper quad, while listening to some live music. I found a globe, a vintage hat with zebra stripe and black lace overalls that I get a tons of compliments for)…and everything cost me less than 20 bucks.
Exit the sexy tanned californian blond, you are sure to cross paths with pale skinned girls wearing all black hats, boots and skinny jeans even when it is 100 degrees. A girl also goes to the Melrose Trading Post to show your membership to the small community of hipsters (remember LA is not in Brooklyn or Le Marais).
Conclusion: I wish it was Merlose Trading Post everyday.
