Paris Fashion Week is over, it’s now time to look back at the runways to figure out what we will be wearing next Summer. Which can be super confusing, I agree, especially because now, in the fashion world, we see everything and its contrary: minimalism, layering, bohemian, rock, ethnic, graphic, denim, glitter…all those trends come back every season, and this is just the beginning of the list.
So instead of trying to spot the fashion trends for the Summer 2016 (because I would find 30 of them, which at the end of the day means none), I chose to share with you 10 strong moments of Paris Fashion Week: some details, prints, looks, which were trend-setting and inspiring to me.
Chanel’s backward cap
Jacquemus’tayloring
The glitter mini-dress, very 90’s grunge revival with Saint Laurent
The theme of Sonia Rykiel’s collection, “Birds of the night”, and its swallow print
The amazing long colorful dress by Chloé
The urban amazon, showing half of her breast, by Barbara Bui
The Tuxedo dress by Acné Studio
The ethnic top with its volume and layers by Isabel Marant
The long dress by Louis Vuitton
The white and minimalist collection, inspired by lingerie, by Dior
Have a nice week!
