One of the benefits of being a blogger is that a lot of brands reach out to me to introduce their creations to me. This is VERY helpful for me, since I am juggling between my 2 jobs and my 4 years old boy. I have to confess that I rarely have time to sit and read a magazine or browse on the web, looking for the latest trends.
Today, I wanted to write a sum up of 5 bag designers that I discovered because they contacted me, and I had a real crush on their collections. As I get older, I care less and less about the label. I actually just sold two luxury bags I owned because I was so sick of seeing them on everybody. Even if it means less “likes” on a photo because I won’t be wearing the latest IT-Bag, I aim to to shift my blog and Instagram towards edgy, confidential brands that you can’t find anywhere and will give you a unique style. Take a look at these 5 great bag designers I discovered in 2018.
Elleme is a Parisian brand that brings you meticulously designed pieces defined by Simplicity, Timelessness and Singularity.
All bags are Made in Italy.
LAUTEM is such a great discovery! This Spanish brand designs boxy, structured and geometric bags. The design is a tribute to “classic modernism”. Each piece is handmade in the North of Spain.
RSVP Paris is a young Parisian label, who designs leather bags that can easily transition from day to night. The must-have of the Parisian girl (who hates to change before she goes out!).
Each piece is also handmade and numbered from 1 to 500.
POLENE is another Parisian label that I fell in love with. I love the simplicity of the designs, very minimal and modern. POLENE uses Italian, French or Spanish leather, and manufactures them in Spain. This cute clutch has been systematically sold out since it was launched, so get your hands on it asap!
