marque 64 Pays Basque sweat encre

I think it is now obvious that I love everything the Navy trend. I could wear stripes in every outfit ( oh I actually do! Like here, here and there par exemple), I love the anchor print, navy color is my new black…and of course, this little obsession takes over my son’s wardrobe.

Which explains my crush on this anchor sweater from the French brand 64, a brand I have history with, since it comes from the region I was born in, I was there for its official launching, and it was also my first employer when I was a teenager.

Her kids collection are always adorable, with cute and coloured prints which are a tribute to the lifestyle and culture of the Bask Country (surf, rugby, good food…).

The rest of the outfit: Pants Boutchou by Monoprix (similar here), and H&M shoes (similar here).

My Bugaboo Stroller

When you become a mother, you don’t ogle at your neighbour’s new pair of shoes anymore, but at her stroller, analyzing all the details of it: is it lighter than yours? More practical? Is the design more trendy?

This is understandable, when you think that you are going to use this accessory during months or even years. And this one can’t match your outfit all the time, so you’d better pick a model that you love and suits your way of life.

My Interview for Mummy Super Hero

Blog Maman Bons Plans Initials LA

I am glad to present my first interview as a mother, for the blog Mummy Super Hero.
I am sorry for you guys, it’s a French blog, but as you can guess by the name it publishes portraits of mums who share their personal tips and cool addresses (kids-friendly places, cool fashion stores, cool parcs…) to make motherhood easier (because we need it!)

The full article is available HERE, one more time it’s in French, but maybe you guys can practice!

Mother’s Day

HMMM this Sunday started perfectly…it’s Mother’s Day in the USA, so even if we’re in Paris, my love wanted to celebrate it. It’s an even more special day since it’s my very first Mother’s Day, AND Jules is turning 9 months today, and let me be honest: it’s not easy every day!

But, waiting that Jules makes me ugly noodle necklaces which I will have no choice but to wear, this breakfast in bed and flowers make up for all the tough moments. Now I can’t wait for French Mother’s Day on May 31st ♥

I love this super natural shooting, full of love and tenderness.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers who will read this.

Cute Baby Shoes

Some thinks make us undoubtedly melt: kitties, chocolate, wedding proposals…and baby feet and their cute mini-shoes.
However, it’s been 8 months that my son goes barefoot of with socks. Because yes, for once, I was reasonnable: if shoes are made to walk, then he did not need shoes (which is ironic when you see my collection of heels which rip my feet).

But those times are gone. Last week, Jules was watching me proudly, standing up hanging on our bulldog’s cage, and I understood that it was baby shoes shopping time. And, as often, I found real cute things at H&M Kids:

The Cutest Pineapple Lamp

Jules-et-sa-lampe veilleuse-ananas

Big crush on this pineapple lamp, bought on The French Blossom, a fashion and decoration e-shop featuring only French designers.

It’s in resin and hand-painted, and also comes in pink or white.

I am very tempted to keep it for myself…love its cute retro style!

5 Styles, 5 Mid-Season Jackets for Baby Boys

MID-SEASON-JACKETS-FOR-BABY-BOY 1. 64 ; 2. H&M (similaire ici) ; 3. Petit Bateau ; 4. Zara ; 5. Kiabi

I don’t want to taunt anybody, but I gotta confess that when I was in California, I did not need to buy a jacket for Jules: a jumpsuit, a hat to protect him from the sun, and done deal!

But since I came back to France, with this Winter which seems like it will never end, I had to go for a little shopping to warm my baby up.

It’s true, I am not a pro concerning baby fashion brands yet. They grow up so fast, I’d rather buy few and renew often then spending time looking for something original that he will wear twice. So I stick to brands I know and love, like Petit Bateau, Kiabi, H&M…who may be mainstream but also have super cute designs. Oh, and also, since I was born and raised in the Bask Country, I can’t help dressing him with the local brand 64, which does adorable sporty and casual stuff for kids.

Here’s my selection of 5 jackets, with 5 different styles, I spotted (and sometimes bought 🙂 )
