This season, a hint of red is a great way to elevate your holiday looks. The polka dots print is back in style and my favorite version is this black dress with red dots from Realisation Par. Since mixing colors and prints is now encouraged (and I already shared in this look my love for the leopard-red combo), I styled it with a faux fur leopard coat and my red NA-KD sock boots. Unfortunately these are out of stock in red but you can shop other cool colors here. Go to the end of this post to shop the entire look!
Same combo, different year: I have always been a fan of the red and leopard mix. Last Christmas, I published this look wearing a reformation burgundy silk top and a faux-fur leopard coat. In this look, I pulled out a leopard blouse from one of my favorite designers Fabric Hunted and Collected, paired with a red beret and NA-KD red kitten heel boots (aren’t they fantastic?). Good news! Most of these items or similar are on sale during Cyber Monday, I have listed them at the end of this post.
How do you like to dress for your holiday parties? I am not a big fan of sexy outfits, glamorous dresses and glittery stuff. My favorite thing to do is to pull out an outfit that is both chic and androgynous, à la Charlotte Gainsbourg or Caroline de Maigret, 2 Parisian fashion icons that I look up to. I spotted these belted high rise pants from French designer IRO on IFCHIC (on sale now!) and they’re exactly the kind of piece that I love to wear to go out. A modern version of the black suit. I love the bold wide legs, the paper waist and the tailored pleats that give a masculine and sophisticated twist to the outfit.
Jerome Dreyfuss has always been one of my favorite French designers for his understated leather bags. His creations are designed to match your lifestyle, and he is part of this movement of Parisian designers, such as Isabel Marant, who promote a dressed-down luxury, mixing beautiful materials with a casual, a bit scruffy look. I am the kind of person who never looks perfect from head to toe (first of all my hair is always a mess) so I embrace 100% this kind of philosophy!

When it comes to fashion we are so used to buying what’s being imposed on us that we forget the real luxury is to be able to choose exactly what WE want. I have partnered with Shoes of Prey, an awesome company that offers the possibility to entirely personalize your shoes (heel height, materials, color, finish…) and delivers your custom-made model to your door in two weeks. Oh, and for the same price as most regular shoe retailers, should I mention.
Spoiler alert: there’s a promo code at the end of this post! ↓↓↓
Oh Zara…I have a love-hate relationship with you. I am trying to buy more slow-fashion items, and right when I was convinced that I would not buy from you anymore, here you are with this fabulous jacquard red dress. What can I say, I am weak…and apparently I am not the only one because it has sold out in a few days! But if you were coveting it, I have found (really) similar red dresses that I have listed at the end of this post.
Don’t pack up your Summer clothes yet…find a way to layer them. This red pleated dress from Maje has been one of my favorite outfits since the Summer 2016 (I was showing it for the first time on the blog in this Summer outfit last year).
Recently I had the pleasure to shop Fall items with IFCHIC. As I mentioned in this recent post, IFCHIC is an online fashion site with a curated selection of contemporary, edgy designer brands (such as Tibi, Carven, M.i.h. Jeans… ).I went straight for Iro which is one of my favorite French designers, and picked two basics that are perfect for the Fall in Los Angeles: an oversize white tee and black distressed skinny jeans.
