If there is one french designer who will seduce a Californian women with her edgy bohemian, ethnic and rock style, it is Stephanie Vaillé.
After working for internationally known companies, Stephanie launched her brand a few years ago.
She has a passion for high-quality materials, making leather her specialty that she works into perfectos, jackets, slim pants or shorts.
Stephanie, a globe-trotter, gets her inspiration in her travels and the artisans she meets during, which is why every collection has a strong ethnic touch.
I met her when she launched her first collection, and was so flattered when she asked me to model for the campaign, a dream coming true to me!
I drove mad when I entered her show-room. You know how it is to be looking for the perfect leather jacket, you want it tight, not too short not too long, with a rock style but sophisticated.
So imagine you arrive in Stephanie Vaille‘s showroom, and all the jackets are wow… amazing.
Some are mixed with fur, some are made with an “old-leather” effect, others have a biker-style which make bikers look hot.
Even the leather pants, (which I never wear because i think they do not fit me well), looked great on me.
Now good news! Stephanie’s collections are varied, but still combine a “nomad bohemian” spirit with a glamorous touch with a rock’n’roll.
Her blouses, that mix romantic, hippie chic and ethnic style, are the greatest I have ever seen, and reminds me a lot of the cool Californian style.
What I love with Stephanie is that she really has a talent to design everyday outfits you feel comfortable and not over-dressed in, with the “je ne sais quoi” which make it unique and stylish.
I bought this pink cutout cardigan from her 2013 Summer Collection, and received so much compliments wearing it.
My favorite piece of her 2013 Fall Collection: her teddy CULT (the name talks for itself) or jacket ELEONORA
After she seduced Europe and Japan, she is on her way to conquer America and will be, I hope, very soon on the West Coast.
