I was looking back at my blog recently, and noticed I did not post a lot about Los Angeles the past months.
Of course it can be explained by the fact that I moved back to France to have my baby boy in May 2014.
But tomorrow, I am going back to California, which was the occasion for me to go through some pictures I took last year, especially pictures about my favorite district in Los Angeles: Venice Beach.
Visit this neighborhood in images:
The nicest area of Venice Beach is Abbot Kinney, a “chillax”and boho neighbourhood, with cute little wood houses, trendy coffees and restaurants, edgy boutiques and cool atmosphere.
The Abbot Kinney street reminds me of the Parisian place “Le Marais”, except that here, it is sunny and bordered with Palm trees.
One of the best places to have lunch or dinner is Gjelina, with its hidden terrasse and its amazing pizzas.
Make a reservation, the place is super busy!
Toms is another nice place to hang out, drinking a coriander Latte, eating a gluten-free pastry (this is LA), while you shop wood sunglasses, basque sandals. You can also come there to work on their huge couches, or have some sun on the terrasse in the back of the shop.
I can’t wait to be back now, and post new pictures of my Californian life!
